Kuwait's National Day

It is important to show your loves and belonging to your country. Mostly, there is a day yearly to every country to celebrate. Usually that day is date of independence the country or date of establishment of the country.


Kuwait celebrate this national holy day on FEB/25-26, and the reason why it is two days because on 25th celebrate of independence from British colonial. And 26th is a date of the liberation from Iraqi invasion 1991.

In Kuwait the celebrating starts for one month (FEB), it is include a many events and festivals. For example, there is many national competitive like the best house decoration with Kuwait flag, the best national photograph, the best national painting, and the best national video or ad , and the winner get precious prize. 

The hugest festival in the February is called " Hala February" which include a lot of events such as the music festival where the best singers in the Meddle East came, and poetry festival. In 25th_26th everything should be completely nationally so people commit in wearing the traditional clothes, and the streets decorate with Kuwait flags. The most beautiful and enjoyable event happen when the government close the most popular street in Kuwait to let people play with foam and water and that just happen in 25th-26th. Kuwaiti families spent this national day with many activities like getting involved with "Hala February" events, visit a national-history places like parade, Kuwait Towers, Filaka and Bobyan isalnd, and Souqe Almubarkia, and Entertainment City for there children.
